About ICNIS

The International Carbon Neutrality Interdisciplinarity Society (ICNIS) is a non-governmental association committed to encouraging research related to carbon neutrality and climate change to create opportunities for networking and collaboration. The members are leading scientists, educators, and practitioners of governance, who are dedicated to innovative research, interdisciplinary and transnational collaboration as well as the exchange and dissemination of knowledge.

In the spring of 2020, a new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic suddenly appeared and brought profound changes unseen in a century to human society. This global pandemic not only causes public health crisis, but severely affects global supply chains, industrial chains. Under such circumstances, it is even more necessary than ever before to strengthen international cooperation to deal with the issue of climate change. Therefore, in response to climate change and to promote scientific comunication and societal progress, ICNIS is established.

The major mission of ICNIS is to explore ways and methods to transform science and technology into productive forces, promote the integration of technology and economy, study the optimal allocation of resources, and promote the construction of an innovative country and high-quality development.
